These are unprecedented times with the COVID -19 & protocol in hospitals. My worst nightmare was fulfilled with having my aging father admitted during this horrific time. The facility was somewhat lacking & unclean. There were roaches crawling around the 1st night I was there in the 3rd floor ICU. Most of the ICU nurses were top notch, caring & compassionate. I was told by a doctor here that he’d rather i pay out of pocket for my treatment than have to fill out L&I paperwork. I called to speak with administration on the matter and not once did they apologize or even try to rectify the matter. This is what’s broken with our health care. This hospital doesn’t care where it gets it’s money even if it bleeds their patients dry. Disgusting.
