Impossible to get an appointment. Referrals don't go through. Schedulers are understaffed, expect at least 30min on hold if calling. Dont expect the scheduler to call you if referred. Despite having myhealth app this department chooses not to use it... advise you find somewhere else. Stanford overall is not a healthcare system to choose unless you need speciality high cost care which is clearly their business model having experienced both sides of it.
After my procedure which required anesthesia, Rn Nadia Davila walked me to a hallway and in a bored voice told me to wait in the lounge for a wheel chair. I went through the door at the end of the hall and ended up in the reception room. Ask the front desk where the lounge was to wait for a wheel chair. Was told to go to the cafeteria upsides. wandered downstairs till I found a in patient nursing station upstairs and asked the same question. Avoid this clinic if you can. We called for an appointment weeks in advance. Initially they only told is the day of the procedure not the time. They said the time will be decided closer to the day. On the day of the procedure, we were checked in on time but then sat in the room for 2 hours without any updates. After 2 hours when I complained, someone came in to tell us they are behind, as if we didn’t know already.
