The Dr seems ok. Not much on talking to you about your issue. But their scheduling person, Carla is VERY RUDE and condescending. When I asked for a certain procedure she told me that I couldn't have it even though the Dr. and I had agreed to doing it when right after the colonoscopy. She wouldn't go back to the Dr to re affirm what I said and told me that she wasn't scheduling it. She CAN NOT practice medicine and deny me a procedure. Dr.Mujtaba was very snippy and dismissive. I wasn’t called back until an hour and a half after my appointment time. I’ve been dealing with health issues and currently being seen by multiple specialists . I wanted to rule out any G.I. issues but this doctor is very dismissive on everything I was telling him just wanted to get me to do an endoscopy under anesthesia to check for ulcers and gastritis, which is unrelated to the issues I told him I was having. Doctor treated me fine from exam to peocedures and aftercare. Nurses good, too. Recommend this Gastroenterologist office.
If I could give less than 1 star I would, ...so unorganized. Went back and forth on my insurance Im covered..Im not covered..they made a mistake, Im not covered....and they Never return calls, Ive called and left messages over 4 times. Do not go to them!!! Use someone else, their office and billing staff are awful
Had a colonoscopy procedure done today. Dr. Shafi and his staff are very professional, very kind and helpful. Thank you.
