Had a friend join me for lunch and he wanted something new and different. Took him to…..well, tried to take him to Dickey’s. The two gentlemen working in that restaurant were incredibly rude. I don’t know what in the world occurred that ruined their day but they certainly were having a terrible day. When it became obvious by their rudeness that we were not welcome, my friend and I left and went to Hard Knox for Pizza. Was craving BBQ but the pizza was great. NEW OWNER IS AMAZING AND IS REALLY DOING HIS OWN THING! Best go at dickeys I’ve had in years.
We just moved to Knoxville and have only been to this location twice. Both times, our experiences were great. The food was consistently fresh and good, the restaurant was clean, and the customer service really stood out. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and clearly cared about providing a positive experience. Based on our visits so far, this is the only Dickey’s location in the greater Knoxville area we plan to go to. The service and hospitality is superb.
This place used to be great but alas, no more. The last two times I've ordered baked potatoes they have been out. They offered to substitute with sandwiches, which currently cost almost $4 LESS than the potatoes. Gee, how generous. Also, getting a refund "takes a few days because they have to forward it to their manager"... oh, okay. So you cannot prepare my order, and you're also going to hold my money hostage for as long as you want? I shouldn't be able to order a potato online if potatoes are not "in stock." Don’t go to eat there. They are too busy filling pickup orders to bother with walk in customers.
