We tried ordering a large order for work. Was very unimpressed at the flavor of the various meats. Thinking I might have missed something I tried it again. Same thought. Nice enough, but didn't really make me go "wow that's good barbecue" like the great BBQ shops around. For my money I'll hit up Fat Cat on north hill for some amazing pulled pork! Just sayin.
Ugh service really needs to improve. It took 10 minutes to sort our order out after I paid and it was all because of a kids chicken nugget meal.
Just tried it for the first time with my picky kids around 3:00 pm. They were out of ribs and Mac 'n cheese. Brisket needed sauce on it but the chicken was pretty good on its own. The BBQ beans needed some sugar or something to give it a little more flavor. Kids said they want to come back again. Hopefully they will get their numbers right so they aren't running out of items before the dinner crowd comes in. BBQ places should be able to make it at least halfway through dinner before they run out.
Mother's day was maybe not the best time to make the first visit. Huge line, cashiers personality was less than impressive. Very busy...1/2 hour wait for ribs. Businesses should realize the supply/demand factor when opening a business in Minot or other surrounding boom towns.
