Terrible food. Service even worse. We won’t be back to the 69 S location. Food was cold. Okra was uncooked. Lady at the counter seemed to care less about her job. Ignored me when I told her the Dr Pepper was out. Then I told her ice cream cones were out, she walked out to replace, but I guess couldn’t find any, so she just went back behind counter without telling us there were no more. My husband, and I got takeout tonight at the highway 69 location. We ordered 3 potato salads, but they gave us three baked potato casseroles instead. I drove back to the restaurant after noticing the mistake. They were so nice and friendly in fixing their error. The food was good and two of the three ladies working were extremely nice.
The one in Midtown sells you 1/3 slab of ribs when you ask for 1/2 slab. Why so stingy? Not returning. People do not want free product or services just their money worth. That's why people do not purchase a slab cut up because you wont get 100% of the slab.
Food was ok but definitely not enough bang for my buck ..one meat and two extremely small portion sides came to 11.25 plus tax..and that's not even including a drink! to many other places around offering cheaper meals..gosh I'm so sad I used to love this place. Staff was nice and friendly ..but I won't be back with the price hike
Ronnie Miles was an awesome server; he gave me the best and most entertaining service that I've had in a while. The barbecue was out of this world, and as a long haul trucker, I'll be adjusting my routes to come this way from now on!!
