Delicious and nutritious in a comfortable casual dining restaurant ....typical of Portland OR
Food is fine but the wait staff seems to be hit and miss. Our waiter picked up our empty plates and then proceeded to chat with his friends for a while as we had to flag someone down to bring us our check. He didn't stop by once to see if the order was right, if there was anything else we needed or if we were interested in ordering anything else. I visit dicks kitchen every time I am in Portland Oregon to visit my sister-in-law. I've never been disappointed. the vegan coconut shake is out of this world! Last night was the first night I had vegan mayonnaise on a bacon burger with pimento cheese-over-the-top delicious. this is the only place my sensitive stomach can eat "fast food" style dishes. We very much enjoyed our burgers and chili. The side specials were ok but not I wouldn't necessarily have them again. But classic burger- definitely!
