Wonderful family business with great produce.
This is a farm that grows produce year round, so there’s a lot seasonal veggies and fruits. I usually come here for the NM green and red chile every September or October depending on when it’s available. I’ve been coming to this farm since I was a kid. It’s like a family tradition to get our chile from here. Now I’m older and get to have my wife enjoy it with me.
We shop there whenever we are in town. Especially for fresh pinto beans and chili depending on the season fresh green or dried red. Mmmm
I am a bonafide New Mexican from Mesilla, New Mexico. Growing up in Mesilla, we were always taught that the best chile comes from Hatch. Boy were they wrong!!! A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a ride out to Deming and buy a sack of green chile. I got home and roasted the entire sack, and let me tell you!!! Not only was the chile BURSTING with flavor but it was meaty and smelled like heaven!!!! Just want to say thank you to Diaz Farms for their amazing chile!!! Hatch chile never again.
