I am amazed at her knowledge and her bedside manner with every visit. I would highly recommend Dr. McLaughlin for anyone seeking competent, friendly and thorough care for their children. She is one in a million, especially in this day and of lackluster healthcare.
I'm perplexed by the number of poor reviews for Dr McLaughlin. My children have been her patients since birth with the eldest now being 17 years old. I have never felt I was spoken to condescendingly nor have I ever felt rushed through my appointment. I have always been asked questions to further understand why my child was in that day and my answers listened to before and during the exam. Dr. McLaughlin is rude and condescending. She charged us for services that were 100% by insurance. Told us we had to pay the whole fee and that she wouldn't bill insurance anything as we had not yet met our deductible. A month later we found out from our insurance that we were covered, and that she actually billed us and them for the services. This doctor should never be a child doctor. You will never see a smile on her face , she is always unhappy . Rude . She is interrupting you all the time , never gives you a chance to finish the sentence . Doesn't care to listen about your concerns or observations about you child. As a new parent she made me feel like a fool and very uncomfortable. There is no way a new mother should be treated like that. I will never go back to her office . I do not recommend her to be your child's physician .
