I had a very disappointing experience purchasing my wedding band from Diamonds Direct. I chose a specific ring based on a highly textured, unique display model (see the comparison photo). However, the ring I received was a smooth matte finish that looked like a completely different product. When I raised this concern, the store explained that floor models are made of different materials to highlight markings that aren't as visible on the actual 'live' rings.
