My boyfriend loves The Diamond. I’ve ate there twice now and I have to agree. The burgers are my favorite. The hand dipped corn dogs are great. The hotdogs have wonderful flavor. And the pickles are pretty tasty. Both times I’ve went they were pretty slow so the service was top notch and friendly! It’s in a great location with lots to do within walking distance. I definitely suggest trying it out if you haven’t yet. Make a day of it!
We went to grab a quick lunch. We’ll that was wishful thinking. It took over 30 mins to get a salad with grilled shrimp. I enjoyed the food but when you only have a hour for lunch don’t got to this place.
Fried pickles were salty, burger didn’t have any taste along with the chili. Hot dogs are fried, but decent. First time going, doubt I’ll be back.
Came with friends who found it online drove 1.5 hrs. Nice cozy atmosphere. Courteous waitress. Food a disappointment. Sorry won't be back.

We stop here every time we come through Charlotte and have never had a less than wonderful experience. Reading some of the reviews on here, sometimes a place just isn't for you. This place IS for us! See y'all next time!
The cashier has a nasty attitude,very disrespectfull. I paid for my order and placed the receipt and money in the cashier hand twice,and both times she put my change on the counter. Being a business owner that's terrible customer service. I will never return again!

Not a fancy place, but friendly, good down home food. The best fried pickles anywhere. Good wings, both chicken and pig wings. Bring an appetite.
