We stayed at "Summit View" for a week in October. Before we even checked in, we were informed that the cleaning company had taken our rental strollers away from our rental cabin. The strollers were not delivered until after checkout of the last family. The strollers were clearly marked with our name and dates of stay on them. We were then informed that we would have to come to the office the next day once the office opened to pick them up! We had a wonderful time...We stayed in Bear Paws, until the end when we left...The office called and accused us of stealing and breaking things (which never happened)...So there for we had to let them know about their poor upkeep of the cabin that we stayed in...The air conditioning broke not 1 but 2 times. Someone had to come out and fix it. The water smelled like hot rotten egg farts. So it wasn't very appealing to take a shower nor wash our clothes. Stayed at the. SERENITY cabin... it had spiders and ROACHES... WATER WENT OUT..Beer cans all around the Hot Tub.. DIRTY Dishes and floor damages.. 5 wasp nest ..2 of upstairs and 3 down stairs.. couldn't really enjoy the Hot tub...i really deserve a refund.. I came all the way from Afghanistan to enjoy some Family time and got this... VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!
Beautiful cabins. I emailed them asking several questions, the first were met with mediocre responses. The second time around, instead of answering my question, I was informed of how I could find the information myself. Customer service could use an upgrade. Found a cabin I really wanted to stay in, but considering how unhelpful they were before I even booked, I'd much rather take my business to a company that actually WANTS it.
The Tina Marie cabin is AMAZING!! Adorable, cozy, clean, comfortable, and perfect for our vacation. The best part of course is the view........and looking at that view from the hot tub is heaven!! Amazing experience, I will use Diamond again, and hopefully get the same cabin.
We stayed at Mountain Mist - the cabin exceeded our expectations! Lovely views, and private. We were extremely pleased with the cabin, location, and staff. Due to inclement weather (Jonas), the staff promptly advised us of potential impassable roads and offered suitable substitutions and/or a full refund. They went above and beyond to meet our needs and kept in constant contact with us during the entire process. We will definitely return!! Cathy in the office rocks!!
We stayed at King's Castle through DMR. The view was absolutely beautiful! Loved the big kitchen/living room windows and hot tub on the deck. However the place needed some maintenance and a better cleaning job. Examples: dusty, one toilet didn't work properly, light bulbs outside needed replacing, tub a little dingy with hair in one of them, broken towel rack, no laundry detergent, plastic chairs outside were filthy, etc. Also the drive way was kind of scary very narrow and steep, not ideal for a big SUV or van but besides t... read more
We stayed at the Mountain Mist Cabin, such a beautiful cabin and view! Very clean and comfortable. Easy to find close enough to town but far enough away to get out of all the craziness! We will definitely stay at this cabin and with Diamond Mountain Rentals again when we are back in the area!
