Good food. Terrific service and a lovely atmosphere. We will certainly be back.
Although we had been guests many times in the past, we were forced to cancel approximately 30 hrs in advance of an upcoming reservation due to the fact that one of our children was hospitalized. Management charged us $660 despite our situation and the fact that they were notified 30 hrs in advance. Inflexibility and rudeness was what we received as our family was in crisis. There are many other fine hotels in the Hudson River Valley; stay at one of those or risk being punished should an emergency arise.
I just photographed a wedding and the place is amazing, the food was delicious and the service, superb!
Went to lunch today sept 5 , 2015 with my wife , waited 15 min for service ,napkin was dirty ,ordered their expensive hamburger which came out with heal of the tomatoe quarter inch end of onion ,both of which is normally tossed in trash, at least by so called high end restaurants. Showed waitress who told the manager who showed up 10 minutes later with new tomato and onion placed it on the table kept walking while mumbling sorry.I approached the manager told her and the so called chef need to find a different occupation like... read more
First Friday tonight was fantastic! Food was delicious and service was perfect. Thanks!!
Visited just today, was seated by a lovely gentleman. Waited 25 + minutes and no one even brought water let alone a cocktail to our table. The Tavern was far from busy and this lack of attention and service was simply unacceptable. When we finally decided we had waited long enough and prepared to leave we encountered the gentleman who had seated us and he offered the explanation that the wait staff must be misinformed as to whose table we were.
