Recommendedif you dont like old school dont go. it isn't for everybody. if you want cozy step back in time atmosphere step right up. the food is always top notch. service 2nd to none. I have been going here for over 35 years. never a bad experience. it's the way things should be done. Dont change a thing ...Well maybe the men's room first floor lol. thanks for all the nostalgia
Excellent food and best service you'll ever have.
Incredible service and fine dining cuisine. Dungeness crab appetizer was so fresh and tasty. Salads were crisp. Beef tenderloin and lamb chops were done perfectly medium rare. Surprised us with a birthday ice cream treat. Server was spot on for timing and quality of her service.

My wife is originally from Akron. We discovered this gem many years back and now visit the Diamond Grille every time we come back to visit and it never disappoints. On this particular occasion I had the Royal Filet-- 12 oz. of perfection. It was so tender on the inside with a great crust outside. Our server (sorry, I forgot her name) was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I can't say enough about this old school establishment.
If you want one of the best steaks ever you need to visit the Diamond Grill! The Diamond Grill is a staple of Akron Oh it's been around probably before I was which is OLD. The decor isnt fancy but the food is fabulous and can be somewhat pricey but well worth the visit. You won't be sorry, trust me.

Stopped in for lunch an had this superb grilled shrimp and vegetable medley.
Filet was amazing! Melt in your mouth good!
