Our son recently had a major surgery at banner children's hospital. The procedure unfortunately had to be rescheduled multiple times over the course of a couple months. Once due to staffing issues and the other because my son got sick and couldn't have the procedure . On our third attempt at surgery everything went very well. My daughter & I were in a bad accident recently and Banner made our recovery process so much better. Great Staff and medical students. Very professional and take the time to listen to my concerns reguarding my recovery which was very important to me. They are awesome and caring!! the food was awesome too!

My eight year old daughter and I drove almost two hours to be with my youngest daughter who had been transferred from another hospital. We were not allowed to see her due to no one under the age of 12 being allowed in. Is an 8 year old carrying viruses that a 12 year old is magically exempt from? This is a pediatric hospital that does NOT support families.

Do not take your kids to the ER here. I chose to take my son here because he was in the banner Nicu so they had his history . My son woke up lethargic with a fever of 106 that we couldn’t control at home. We went to his primary who ran a Covid, strep, flu and a respiratory panel and told us to go to the hospital if he got worse or meds didn’t help his fever. We went to Banner and they ran a Covid, strep , flu and RSV and sent him home with a diagnosis of a fever and told us to come back if his fever wasn’t breaking with meds... read more

This institution is poorly managed and lacks general patient satisfaction in terms of service. 6th floor in pediatrics critical care with a toddler and they have me wait an hour for scrubs . What is the delay when you have the adult hospital connected to the childrens? Cafeteria for food service will always take your order incorrectly and will have you wait an hour and hold you accountable for the discrepancy .
