Purchased my new 2018 Forester here and Sales was not honest and tried using tactics typical in this industry, unfortunately. As for Subaru cars. I had a 2015 Outback made in USA and a Japan made 2018 Forester with numerous QC issues. In short, I would not recommend Subaru to anyone. It’s not made well in my experience. And It seems, Subaru of America just doesn’t care. Despite being a 4WD, it’s not as stable at higher speeds. I think it’s okay if you go slower but there are better options out there. So, I had an interesting experience with Diablo Subaru. I took my car in to be inspected because it started making a concerning noise when I drove it. After inspecting my car, the Service Center folks tell me it's my radiator, and I need to get the entire assembly replaced for around $2,300. They also tell me they discovered a fuel leak that would cost $10,145 (!!!) to repair because they'd have to remove everything under the hood to address the leak. Courteous staff on the phone and great teamwork checking in to see if I have been helped from multiple staff at the service stations. Efren my rep was friendly and progressional, keeping me updated about my tire repairs from multiple nail punctures with videos of the findings. Due to shipment delays for the replacement tires my car was sitting at the shop for a week. But very glad Efren offered me a loaner car 25’ Forester while waiting.
