Shopping for walkers I had to buy a walker for my mother who had worn out her last one. I went over to Diablo Medical Supply and they had a good selection of walkers. The woman who helped me pick one out was friendly and knowledgeable and I bought one. Unfortunately, the height of the walker turned out to be wrong and it had to be exchanged. YOU WANT THE BEST. GO HERE I have dealt with DIABLO MEDICAL SUPPLY for over 3 yrs. I take care of both my elderly parents and have NEVER EVER had one problem with this company. If being TOO NICE, having EXCELLENT SERVICE, A LARGE RANGE OF PRODUCTS AND RETURNS WITHOUT A HASSLE is a problem..then this is not the place to come. No exchanges, No refunds, - unsupportive staff�?? Dont bother wasting your time, money & energy going to this place. If you buy a product here, take it home and it doesn't turn on, the unfriendly lady tells you to return it back to the company. The whole reason you are buying product from the store instead of internet is so that if it doesn't turn on, you could at least return it immediately. Diable Medical isn't all that They do not have anything other than the barest bandaging supplies. Not a good source for anyone other than the very old and infirm (lots of walkers, canes, commodes). If you are dealing with injuries that require anything other than gauze and tape you are not going to find it here. Try Johnston Medical in Berkeley. Purchased a walker in their store and realized within 18 hours that we needed to return it. They refused to allow it, stating a no return policy. The service we received at the time of sale was chaotic and rude and we were not told of the policy. The manager refused to speak directly to us and said intimidating things through the salesperson, who hung up on us when we called the next day. Diablo Medical Supply A very small shop with everything you need for the home sickroom, wheelchairs and scooters. Available are hospital beds for rental, ostomy supplies, all sorts of bandaging materials, You can rent supplies for oxygen, or wheelchairs. They have scooters for sale, so do repairs.
