Here’s a rundown of my experience: August 19: after having not received my routine supply shipment in a long time, and being put on hold for extended time periods, I sent an email asking someone, anyone to help me. Really, really horrible customer service. Getting Dexcom equipment and supplies is like pulling teeth. I'd vote with my feet but I'm stuck with them as a supplier. Will continue to complain vocally to my Insurance company until they find a better supplier.
These people in a trying to get prior authorization for some supplies told my Doctor and my health insurance that I was not a customer of theirs. This after sending them payments for over two years of $50.00 each. If I am not a customer I want the $1,200.00 lus in payments I have made refunded.
Terrible customer service. If you're a new customer you can call their toll free number and get right in, but, if you're a returning customer you get put on hold with that annoying message "you're call is very important to us. All calls are answered in the order they are received". I spoke with one guy in new business, Teddy, and he couldn't have cared any less if I did business with DSC and simply told me that I'd have to call back and select the returning customers option. 30 minutes later, I'm still on hold.
