Terrible company to work for if you are looking to excel your career. Limited to no training is offered. You're placed in positions where people just throw you to the wolves for you to learn yourself and when mistakes are made there is no accountability taken. Managers talk with their employees about all of their employees' performance. If I could rate less stars I would. No growth within the company unless you become a favorite. Just a very terribly unorganized company. Run the other way if you can!

They did a ok job before closing(explaining me the process) and during closing. But I discovered a discrepancy with tax portion in closing disclosure(had paid taxes for the year I didn't close).The escrow agent seemed extremely lethargic and uninterested in my issue. I just got back irrelevant one liners most time - nothing changed when I looped in other DHI Title folks. Tired of emails after few weeks just called her and explained what going through. 0 stars. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a mortgage company. I was misgendered, talked down on, and had to resubmit documents multiple times to compensate for the sheer lack of organization the staff had. The builder/financier pushed closing for over 60 homes so they could bolster their 2021 numbers with no regard to what that would do to the customer experience. DHI only cared about getting their mortgages booked out, and had no empathy for the families who made the time to come and close on their homes. ... read more
