I've been there for 9-days in Mega Mendung, Bogor, . The place is very beautiful with a lot of greens (tall pine trees) and a river stream right below the building. When I was there it was raining heavily every afternoon everyday. The retreat itself was overcrowded at that time with about 50 participants but the atmosphere was still conducive for serious meditation. Clean, orderly, spacious, peaceful, with staff and monastics who welcome and treat you like family. The retreats are geared to help you grow and cultivate your mind and deepen your practice. I have visited twice to date, and planning a third visit. Oh, and the food is great!! :) 5 stars and a huge 'thank you' to the staff.
