was disappointed that this doctor prescribed a medicine that doesn't work for me, one that makes me very groggy and stumble. went to another dr for my osteoporosis, stenosis, and scoliosis, a dr. who gives thorough thought into the right treatment,
good bedside manner
had two surgeries over the course of 2 years to implant spacers into my spine. was promised 80% decrease in my pain level. after 6 months I am still in bad pain. can not walk two blocks without extreme pain, process did not work. can not say I recommend this dr.
I had a chronic pain consult today with Dr Mann, but I’ve been seeing him on and off for 4 years and I’ve gotten very good results. I not only have great confidence in him, I like his manner with me as a patient. He takes his time and explains everything. I recommend him without reservation.
If pain management is only thru shots and procedures, there this is the place to go. But to have pain managed with the correct medicines, don't see this doctor. From my own experience, I was offered muscle relaxers that would affect my cataracts. A two minute search online shows 4 others without severe side effects, and short term. I passed on ever going back and now have a dr who analyzes and prescribes what's right for me, not right for him. Office staff is excellent though.
I cannot say enough about Dr Mann. He is excellent at finding the source of the pain. I have been suffering from back pain for 15 years I been to many doctors and no one was able to help me like Dr. Mann. All the do is prescribe Opioids for the pain. He is amazing and also very compassionate. I am now pain free in my back and my Sciatica Pain has Diminished Too! Thank you Dr. Mann. God bless you for being the way you are. Dr. Mann is amazing. On my first visit, at his Toms River office, he had an MRI done on me and he explained the report to me and answered all of my questions. He suggested steroid injections but I didn’t want them that day because I wanted anesthesia and they use sedation only at their Whiting facility. But when I had the procedure done, my pain was gone and I could walk without pain. He gave me my life back. I saw my primary, a Rheumatologist, and an Ortho first and no one could help. Dr. Mann did and I am very grateful. Thank you sir
Dr. Mann was AMAZING. Beautiful offices, so many of them, very close to home and convenient. Office staff and everyone are so nice. Flexible appointments. Ah yes, and a great pain doctor!
