Dont use DH! Was treated badly at this business. Work was done before my authorization even after being instructed to do so. Was chastised by the young owner Jacob about missing a phone call multiple times and was treated like trash. Jacob was resistant and has the slightest clue on what customer service entails. He had called me to let me know about the estimate on my mower. I had to decline the estimate and pick up my mower to only find out he had done the work anyway and rode me about not answering my phone within the las... read more
Good Service at reasonable cost I had two lawn mowers that needed repair. The owners of DH Lawn & Garden Equipment came and picked the mowers up, fixed the mowers in a timely manner, and delivered them back to my home. After determining the problems with the mowers I got a phone call indicating the repair that would be done and the cost. There were no surprises when I got the bill. Helpful with good information I had a lot of questions, thinking I could maybe fix my mower myself, My questions were answered without a hint of impatience and I was able to buy my parts and fix things. I was ever directed to a YouTube video for instructions to help save me some money instead of them charging me labor. The owner himself helped me (Jacob) and was very curteous and instructional, I will definitely go there again with any mower/trimmer problems.
RecommendedThese guys are the best, they came out with just a phone call to fix 3 small engines for us on the side of the Hwy 75..... they got them all back running in no time & we will have them do more work for us.... these Honda engines are use to lift a base for a wind turbine (it weighs over 150,000 lbs) Once again thanks guys
Great service and reliable staff.
Must be under new management, when I stated that it's hard for me to put the belts on because it hurts to get back up I was told it would be over their minimum of $90 just to put the belts on even though I have the belts. I was going to let them work on it but the person in the office said "you can do it", it was then that I decided to take my business elsewhere.
I do not recommend DH lawn and equipment in Topeka. Took leaf blower in for warranty work and was told warranty does not cover repair if it is fuel related. They call next day and state dirt got into carb and clogged the needle and i would need a new carb. Then continued to tell me that's what i get for buying at box store and I should take it back and tell them to shove it and come buy from them. Great folks, fun atmosphere, Doing business the the old fasioned way. I.E. the customer comes first.. And yeah I do work there but, see for yourself ! You won't be disappointed..
