My experience with the airline employee shop began on August 27. I ordered a model plane and emailed immediately after to see when I could get the shipping details. I was told that it would take 8 to 12 weeks for the model airplane to be assembled. After asking about updates in the end of November, I made no progress with Steve. I write this review after having waited almost 5 months and never getting a shipping label or any sort of details. I spent over $100 and have received nothing. A fantastic treasure of a shop (open to both staff and public!), unique aviation items (NA Carriers, Oneworld and AA focused primarily but with lots of surprises as well! ). Top notch staff makes for a great experience as well, this is the best thing at DFW!
The gentleman at the cashier was super friendly and welcoming. He just about struck a nice conversation with whoever came into the store. There’s a great selection of airline memorabilia, models and everything in between. Had no choice but to pickup a couple of items to bring home to the family and for myself. I will happily be a returning customer whenever I visit DFW Airport.
Very very kind cashier and good quality items for a very reasonable price. At first we thought the shop is only for employees but actually it is open for everybody :-)
