Unreliable. Cheap quality and getting cheaper. As you can see in the picture, when my reading was actually 122, it showed 225. I was very suspicious, so I did the blood test. My sugar is well controlled and never goe that high. Can you imagine if I was using dexcom to determine my insulin. The problem is that they are focused on the profit not the customer or patient!
Dexcom makes it incredibly difficult to get replacement sensors. The last time I requested a replacement they couldn't figure out why it hadn't shipped, it took me calling 4 times for someone to look into it and expedite. They don't listen to any product feedback or concerns and try to shift the blame on customers for their faulty products. Very disappointing
Absolute garbage. The FDA needs to investigate them and shut them down. Their sensors are complete and total junk. They never work. Zero accountability from Dexcom. All they do is cry that you've reached your number of "complimentary replacements". Horrible company and a horrible product.
These are expensive and unreliable. I bought 9 G7s and 5 have failed almost immediately. Ordered 2 replacements and most failed immediately. One where blood came out of the device and 3 where the needle wasmissing when removed. I tried to order two more replacements and the webpage had a problem. I called support and waited 15 minutes until it hung up. I did call back and select the call back option. A really nice CSR called back and looked at my G7 log and ordered replacements for me.
