AVOID AT ALL COST!!! The dexcom g7 is probably one of the worst devices I've ever used in my 25+ years with t1d. Its extremely inaccurate, unreliable, and frequently removing itself from my skin for no reason. I've spent more than $200 this summer trying to find a bandage that will help it last the full 10 day period but nothing seems to work that doesn't risk ripping the dexcom out when needing the bandage changed. If you must use a CGM, use the Freestyle Libre. Reason- the new Dexcom G7, 15 day system is terrible. I have been an advocate of Dexcom for 20 + years but since they have come out with this new system, complete FAIL. Lasts 11, 12, 13 days; doesn’t connect to my insulin delivery system, Omnipod; and whenever I check the mobile app it says, signal loss ( see photo)What? I need to know what my sugar is!
