Dexcom is by far one of the Very Best Customer Service Organizations, I have ever encountered. I am technically challenged and with encouragement from our doctor, purchased on of their health monitors for a family member. I had an issue, actually twice, and treated with so much respect. The CSR Team did not rush me, they carefully listened to my concern and came up with a very Win, Win solution. Thank you So Much.
This is the 6th Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor we have put on him. We should be on the 4th one of his prescription. The first two did fine. The third failed to send out signal. Called the company, dealt with a poor customer service representative who did not understand what I was telling her & I could not understand what she was saying, I finally asked if I could talk to someone else, & was hung up on. Called back got someone else & got a replacement monitor sent out in 2 days. This one arrived with no needle, so we ca... read more
contacted Dexcom about a G6 transmitter problem on March 17. They said they were shipping replacement. I have not received a replacement as of March 26th. I have called Dexcom three times to get a tracking number for FedEx. Dexcom has told me the problem was with FedEx. Today Dexcom told me the issue was with Dexcom. Apparently Dexcom is inept when it comes to supplying patients with reliable DME to operate Tandem pumps. I would not recommend Dexcom products or Tandem products that rely on Dexcom products to operate properly... read more
I've been using Dexcom for almost a decade now. The new G7 sucks! I would trade it in for the G4 if given the chance. I have had to call Dexcom so many times for sensors since switching from the G6 to the G7. I just want an accurate sensor that works. I don't care how many days it last (7 to 10 days is fine), and I don't care about how long the warm up is. Dexcom is making us trade accuracy for convenience and I hate that. You suck!
The first year they seemed to work fine. In the last month, two failed. The first failed upon start up; the second a day later. Neither was loose, far from it. The adhesive was so strong it pulled off skin. The problem is in the electronics. Makes me wonder if a supply chain is the cause with substandard components. Also Dexcom customer services is a joke requested replacement. No response, either written or by by sending out a replacement
