Hole in the wall with great food! Ate here 2 nites in a row!
Made our 1st visit to Dewey's last night! Everything tasted fresh & not so commercial! Between the three of us we had the crab cakes, grouper & snapper! Delicious! Loved the jalapeño hush puppies also!
We are local and this is one of our favorite places.... the prices, the fresh local seafood... and the sunsets!!! Can't beat the fried shrimp or any market specials
Can't speak for the other one, but the Dewey's on Calhoun is great. I have always heard it was good from boat tours and such, but this is the first time in 3 years we tried it. I had the grilled Grouper sandwich with fries and slaw. It was so freaking good. It was super fast and really affordable. Great scenario too. The whole places kind of gives you like an off the beaten path vibe like you stumbled upon this place no one knows about, except everyone knows about it. Awesome food, pleasant atmosphere with a great bay view, and the staff were welcoming and personable. Couldn't ask for anything better!
Food was outstanding especially the hush puppies! Staff was very efficient and also friendly. Hope I have the opportunity to go there again next time I am in Destin.
The only thing that was good about Dewey Destin was their view and crab cakes. Me and my mom both had shrimp (one fried, one grilled) and they tasted as if they'd been frozen and over cooked. However, I'd definitely recommend their crab cakes if you're going to try it out!
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Our food was wonderful, we had the blackened grouper over cheese grits and seafood platter. Our service was sub par. Our server stayed outside on the deck most of the time with another lady. Not attentive. Food excellent though!!
