We usually pull up by boat but this year we stopped as soon as we drove into destin. Love the food and simple decor on the water.
Always fun to go to Crab Ialand. The food is fresh and always good-I had the fish, shrimp and oysters and oh so yummy. The best part is they do know how to fry oysters -so juicy and succulent -never rubbery!! I love the atmosphere sitting on the docks and it's fun to see the seagulls "talk" to us!! Always good food!!
My husband and I were visiting Destin for a pre-anniversary celebration. We Google great places to eat and read the reviews on Dewey Destin and decide that would be the place to eat because it was my husband's name. The food was great and the see ice was excellent and prompt.
We tow our travel trailer to Camp Gulf every year. We stopped to camp at an RV park in Mississippi on our way from Arkansas. I struck up a conversation with a fellow traveler. I ask him where he was from and he said originally from Destin. Part of the fun of visiting the gulf coast is the food.
