The manager is the worst I've ever dealt with I will never purchase anything from here again. We bought my wedding ring here at the Arden Fair Mall store. The sales staff was great while trying to make a decision on which ring to buy. That service stopped once my ring was purchased and the problems began. First problem, the day of our wedding I went in to pick up my ring and found it was sized wrong (too small). Not a big deal, I could still get it on and thought Iâd just have it fixed later. Just okay While we bought my husbands wedding ring from DeVons, and another ring of mine, I wouldn't recommend them. The staff borders on pushy, the warranties aren't great, and they're not very friendly. I received a set from them as a gift and needed to get it sized, and even though the gift giver had paid in advance for that and I had the paperwork, it was a huge hassle. We go there to get my husbands ring cleaned for his warranty, and that's it. I never plan on buying anything from them again.
Great Experience Anthony was a fantastic help picking out my engagement ring, and he was very professional. The selection was awesome. Clearly, whomever wrote that negative review had some non-related beef. Newly fired, perhaps? I would go back to the Modesto Devons any day. And hopefully so will my husband-to-be!
Great Jewerly I've Been going to Devon's for Years..probably about 20 years. I've never had any issues with the staff or anything. I buy all my jewlery here for my wife and my daughters i would never imagine going any place else!
Manager is unprofessional!!! Do not shop at the Devons in Modesto!!! I was interested in making a large purchase and after doing research about the particular item, I decided to go with another jeweler. Upon hearing this, the new manager, Anthony, completely flipped out, berated, and yelled and me trying to "talk some sense" into me. However, it simply angered him even more when I was easily able to counter-argue his nonsensical jargon. I now understand why I have heard so many negative reviews of this Devons.
