I had an extremely disturbing and harmful experience with Dr. Devin Elizabeth Prior during my neurology appointment on 01/16/2026. I arrived prepared with two full pages of written symptoms, a detailed timeline of events, and specific tests I wanted to discuss. Despite this, Dr. Prior dismissed my concerns early in the appointment and repeatedly stated that my episodes were nonepileptic without performing any testing to support that conclusion. I really like Dr. Prior and her staff. Third neurologist I've seen and IMO the best at her job. Her bedside manner isn't like, absolutely amazing, but it's definitely good and in all fairness I've only had a couple of visits with her. Of greater importance to me, and why I would rate her so highly (if all that mattered was personality and bedside manner I'd give her a 4/5), is her actual skill as a doctor. Going by customer service from the office staff alone I would avoid this place at all cost. They are rude and dismissive. I do not know what the issue was with this woman but she was a jerk from the moment she answered the phone. She didn't even allow me to complete my sentence before determining that I didn't live in Snohomish county and therefore would not be able to see the doctor. Very thorough and only doctor who took symptoms seriously.
I was tortured for an hour with strong shocks to my hand and arm which I warned her were extremely uncomfortable. Then the needle sticks, which were more painful than acupuncture which was what it was compared to, was the last straw! she never responded to my concerns just continued to torture me. This was the most invasive test and would like to request someone more skilled who cares about the patient.
