Having seeing the tower off in the distance many times, we decided to see it up close and personal this time. WOW! There was not many other visitors that day, so the beautiful sounds of the forest, prayer cloths in the tree's made the energy palpable. We did the tower loop, a nice paved trail close to the base. It was a nice walk with views of daring individuals climbing the tower. We saw several deer and cute little chipmunks along our walk. A wonderful break for the spirit.
The park is gorgeous both during the day and in the evenings. The trails were awesome and the staff friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful surroundings countryside as well.
