So glad we took the detour to see our nations oldest National Monument! �
What a beautiful monument!! We got to watch a climber make it all the way to the top, get there early cause it gets packed quick...a must see for everyone!!
It is so worth the trip off the beaten path! The tower is incredible! We walked the base path all the way around. The tower looks different from each perspective. Look outward as well. The view of the Belle Fourche River below is a must for all John Wayne fans (think The Cowboys ).
