Amazing and transcendental ! Must seen !
The park is lovely but the photographers who gather on the west side of the tower are disrespectful to other visitors and do not care about the safety of those in the park. I was walking back from in the grass after shooting photos at night, and to avoid being bitten by rattlesnakes I shined a white light to guide my path. The photographers there yelled at me to turn it off, showing complete disregard for my safety. They only cared about the photos that they were taking, my life be damned. An awesome spectacle and a lovely way to engage with nature. Friendly visitors center, easy to access and find from the main entrance. With the added plus that you pass fields of HUNDREDS of prairie dogs on the way, with smart and ample turn outs for photo ops. First I walked the paved "Tower Trail," saw climbers and met other delighted guests on vacation. The educational stops were terrific and the trail is littered with benches and shade. We took the 3 mile hike around the tower. It was beautiful. We saw the countryside, the river, and the tower. Be sure to rake water.
Love walking the trail and getting closer to the tower.

Nice. Clean & well kept. You can actually walk around the he base.
Absolutely stunning and oddly peaceful...
Great place to experience at least once in your life. Nice hiking trails as well.
