Dr. Alappan is very attentive to my children needs. All 3 of my children were under her care. They are 26, 18 and 16. She has cared for the later 2 since birth. Dr. Alappan has increased her knowledge on adolescents with asthma which has helped us stay in Columbus under her care instead of traveling to Atlanta.
She’s a freaky doctor. She displays some qualities that are unnerving for a mother to witness. She would laugh when my child would cry and showed a lack of sympathy for the well-being of my child. She is the worst doctor I have ever encountered.
Amazing doctor . She takes the time to learn everything about you at the first visit. I was amazed at how caring and knowledgeable she was . Being a first time parent i had loads of questions and concerns and she helped with all of them. Very lucky to have found her. :)

Refused to see our daughter for her first Dr visit after leaving the hospital because we chose to not give our newborn a HepB shot at birth. We also didn't give her the chemicals in her eyes since my wife has never had gonorrhea and had a C-section. Our little girl is perfectly healthy, beautiful and doing great a 3 months. If you want a Dr who waits until the morning of your appointment to cancel because she does not believe parents have a choice you picked the right Dr.
Dr. Alappan is amazing! We had the honor of being her first patient in Columbus, with my little girl. She also cared for my twins when they were born. She is so knowledgeable and kind. She is everything you could want in a Physician for your little ones!
It is very difficult to schedule a sick visit with the provider or even the NP! The wait time even for scheduled appointments take forever. Also, communication is very poor and staff is not helpful. Dr. Alappan never did a hgb or lead test for my child at the age markers (actually did not know it was required by law until I changed providers).
Dr. Alappan has been our pediatrician for the past 12 years. From the time that I was pregnant with my first child, she has always been open and honest about everything that I need to know. She is extremely knowledgeable and uses that knowledge to give the best care for my children. I have never had to second guess anything that she has told me and I am so grateful to have her as my children's doctor. I highly recommend her.
