I cannot say enough positive words about Developmental Steps. From the initial contact with Barbara, who provided me her personal number when we kept playing phone tag, to our final appointment 5 months later, my son received personalized care from both Joe and Hayley. My son is 3 years old and broke his femur and was in a spica cast for 7 weeks. His cast was taken off on a Friday and he had his first session on Monday.. I’m truly forever grateful to the staff and Joe at developmental steps for helping my son learn to walk again. We are 6 weeks post cast and he is walking, running, and finally jumping he is back to himself and it would not be possible with out Developmental Steps. At my son’s 4 month check up our pediatrician recommended we see a physical therapist as he detected slight torticollis . After hearing great reviews we made an appointment with Hayley at Developmental Steps and we couldn’t be happier! She is so patient and knowledgeable we saw improvements after our first visit. She also makes sure that my husband and I understood how to do all of the exercises and stretches at home so we could continue to make progress. So thankful for Hayley and the staff at Developmental Steps!
Joe Kiefer has been a part of my family’s life for almost 20 years. My daughter was diagnosed with hypotonia (low muscle tone) at birth and then with cerebral palsy as she got older and did not meet her milestones.
