RecommendedThe resort in the city slogan says it all. Every time I step out of the car it’s like being on vacation. If your planning a wedding or shower the banquet facilities with a view of the city are superb. Beyond friendly the staff are always working to make sure your enjoying your time at the club. Membership is like getting a extended family.
Love the Yacht Club! This is our second season there and its even better than the first!
Wow Hats off to entire staff at DYC we visited from Lake Erie MBIYC and Marina Del isle Sunday until Wednesday and had a fabulous time with all the warm welcoming from members and staff , incredible meals and met Ron from Dead End Dock who gave us personal tour of Belle Isle , thanks to all for a very memorable visit we look forward in coming back soon and you are all welcome when you visit Lake Erie 😊
I recommend a better way to monitor guests vs members at a private event. Our daughters wedding was there on July 27th. Everything was superb, except DYC club members or misc people from the Red Bar could of come in the top stairs foyer. People we did not know. The brides bouquet was taken from there and we had a gold heart charm family heirloom taken as well as a piece of her grandmothers dress wrapped around the stems. Wonderful atmosphere and amazing staff. The club is busy. Every boat dock is full. The pool is so large and food is excellent.
The DYC Club has everything a wonderful Club should have. Try it - you'll love it!
The Detroit Yacht Club is a beautiful, and Historic building. My wedding reception was there and now my daughter is getting married there. I’m so happy to see the renovations over the years.
classy place just needs air conditioning
Fabulous, historic if the walls could talk, I'd love to hear about life here in 1868! A stay in the Commodore Quarters is a must.
