Horrible I wouldn't recommend these people to my worst enemy. Cars look good on the outside but you get stuck with a Lemon. Car have/still have terrible electric problems. What was I thinking putting $2000 down for a 2000 year model car my first time financing sure would be my last no way should a car note be $400 for such a older car. Had to get the radio fixed myself didn't work when I first got the car. Car cut off on me 3 days after I got it. Should of took that piece of bs back and demanded I want my money back. Now I'm... read more

Horrid credit? – If you're credit is bad enough where you can't get a car anywhere, then this place is great. Expensive...but great. And if you bought a crap car, maybe you should research the car before you buy it? If you can't get approved by anyone then this is best place. Better than buying a 2000 dollar rust bucket...

Worst place too go – I was glad too find these people/ dealership but know i hate i found them all they do is take your money and lie to you about it. The flex plan is a load of bull%$@t. You don,t get your down payment back plus anyway it goes you have too give detroit 2 $450 for them too take the vehical back even if you want just too tried it for another one. You also have too have some money down if you want to trade the one you have from them. Ain,t that some %$@t

Business response:

The best way to communicate is through the English language and correct spelling and grammar- we can not even respond to this review because it is not clear what the customer is complaining about. We have a Flex program which allows customers with bad credit to actually switch into a different vehicle every 6 mos while building and reparing your credit! Please call the dealerships to find out more!

The Worst Ever – I bought a Kia sedona and come to find out the the alternator was bad and battery, supposedly replaced the battery so the vehicle would run once off the lot but that was about it. We drove it for 2 weeks on had to start jump starting it. we took it in to one of their repair shops where they replaced the alternator but not the battery ...duh...also had to have front bearings done...drove for prob another week and had to start jumping it again everyday, called the manager Eugene and he gave us another shop to ... read more

STAY AWAY!!! – PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! The cars look good on the outside but as soon as you drive off the lot, it falls apart!!! I bought a van from them and it broke down so many times the first few weeks I had it, I returned it! The Finance manager is rude and unprofessional, I wouldn't be surprised if this dealer was to close down very soon! Again, STAY AWAY FROM DETROIT 2 IN TAYLOR MICHIGAN!!!

Business response:

WE ARE UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT and have a completely NEW INVENTORY all with carfax history reports and warranties. I am sorry your experience was so horrific in the past. If you return to either lot you will see the major differences that have taken place.

Schemers – This place is a joke, I wish i would have done my homework on them, but i didn't so yes I'm to blame also. The car I was approved for was only 7,000 by the time they were done it had doubled, they wait all the way to the end to show you your monthly car note just a horrible experience there's always something needed to be done on my car, the warranty they give you or should i say charge you for doesn't cover nothing but they will sit there and tell you they cover almost everything so not true..... It was my first ... read more

Business response:

The best policy to safeguard oneself is to read everything you are signing. We encourage this at the dealership and have revamped the way we do our closings in order to help the customer clearly understand everything that is being signed. Unless customers bring in specific recent paystubs, we can't give an exact payment. If you stiff have the vehicle, I encourage you to contact me directly if you have any issues whatsoever so we can best serve you. Thanks.

Ticked off – I bought a intrepid and come to find out the year of the 2002 the engine blows up and what save me was the finance company where I was able to give the car back and get my down payment. But I still lost. I fix the air conditioner and got a oil change before I had to return the car. I give them a minus 5

A lot better than I expected – I heard some bad things about this dealer but it was not true. I went down there to get a car because a salesman from another dealer (where I got turned down) told me I could get a car without a cosigner. I went down there expecting to get turned down again, but I was wrong. The guys at Detroit 2 got me approved BY MYSELF!!! I had to come up with about 1200 but I drove off in an 04 Impala. I have had it now for 7 months and all I have had to do was give it a 20 dollar oil change. Everyone there... read more
