Dteenergy use Detroit furnace and plumbing contractor for their home repairs I had a plugged sink the plumber told me he couldn’t do the job because the way my drain lines were installed ( plumbing fixtures installed 2002) this is my kitchen double sink. And dteenergy home warranty doesn’t cover it. I said how much will it cost the first price was $400.00, I said too much, the 2nd price he gave me was $329.00 I said still too much then he left. Detroit Furnace quoted us 2 GRAND and "had to rip our cabinets out and redo the entire plumbing system" for a CLOGGED DRAIN. My father in law fixed it in 1 hour for $4 in parts. Scammers just trying to get a pay day out of people. Horrible company. The "plumber" also CREATED A NEW LEAK! Refused to do anything but make the problem worse. Save your time, call some random handy man without any training, they know A LOT more than these guys.
This place sucks they stole my valuable belongings. They were replacing a wax ring in my toilet and cracked my slab in my bathroom floor from wall to wall and try to cover it up. They cut a hole in the floor to put a return vent and never clean the mess I had to clean it all up. Stay away from this place their employees suck unexperienced.
We had a great experience with this company. Steve K first came out to evaluate our bathroom faucet issue and was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He returned a week later with Alec to complete the repair, and both of them worked efficiently, finishing the job quicker than expected. The new faucet looks clean, modern, and works perfectly.
