I had a deeply traumatic experience under the care of Gus Zamora delivering my firstborn at Detar. I was induced against my will @41 weeks pregnant. I was begging and crying for him to not induce me because I was praying for a natural birth, but he grabbed me by the shoulders and told me if I didn’t sign the papers and get induced right then (Friday) that he was going to cut me open on Monday. My complaint is words & actions by the Dr, anesthesiologist, and nurses of my wife’s delivery. •Giving heavy consideration to the thought that the whole situation from the moment we walked in was like rounding up a cow into the chute… They get you there and don’t listen to MY WIFES birthing plan. Took papers and walked off with them, never to be seen again, when I showed to them upon entering her birthing room. (Still don’t have it. Have been sitting over an hour for results from a urine test (pregnancy test) should be 5min or so. When asking the nurse what’s going on she just tells me “oh yeah we’re busy!” And slams my door. Then I proceed to hear the people who came in after me being discharged, & I know it wasn’t severe because I was talking to them before we were brought back. There’s such a lack of care and no updates. I’d be more patient if someone could tell me what is going on!!! Absolutely disappointed!!!

This was my first pregnancy & let me just say everyone from my OBGYN Dr. Zamora, the nurses that helped care for me, anesthesiologist that did my epidural & the NICU nurses. Everyone was absolutely amazing & very caring!
