I had a deeply traumatic experience under the care of Gus Zamora delivering my firstborn at Detar. During my pregnancy, he failed to administer the RH immunoglobulin (RhoGAM) shot, not realizing until after I had delivered my baby, seeing that baby’s blood is RH positive and my blood is RH negative; I now need to consult another doctor to determine if this neglect has caused sensitization, potentially impacting my future pregnancies. My grandson was taken care of to the fullest. He had to have his appendix taken out and within 1 hr from CT scans and transport it was all dealt with such kindness. Thank you to ALL the staff who made this happen so smoothly. I pray to God to bless this ER /Hospital.
The best staff, they really have a lot of empathy and compassion. The nurses, the doctors, they’re just wonderful people.
Not pleased with the service my 3 month old son received this evening. We seen Dr. Blake Goodman I’ve had issues with him before not wanting to do test on my daughter last year and she ended up in the hospital with her primary admitting her .Today he didn’t want to do test on my son due to price of the test and told me it wouldn’t change anything done in the ER .TEST should have been taken and weren’t . This was a bad experience. I was having skin trouble and was actually diagnosed by a lady that used to be a dermatologist there after trying to figure out what was wrong with me for months then when speaking to the doctor there, I was telling her how I had picked up the skin disease when I went to visit my sister, who had been having a lot of seizures after having her back surgery and the doctor did not even listen to me or hear me and put on my records that I have told her I had a seizure and I never have this is how well t... read more
