Do not go! I use to go to Destinations when Patty owned it! Patty and all her staff were wonderful! Just went in to get my hair colored and cut. Yes...I wanted the owner to do my hair...it took some time to get an appointment with her. And it is really expensive to have Theresa do your hair. It started nice...deciding the best cut and colr for me. Destinations Salon and Spa! Destination Salon and Spa in Glenmore, PA is AMAZING! The owner Theresa and her team could not be nicer and more knowledgeable! I went for a hair color and make up demonstration! My color was done by Allison.....and I have never loved a hair color more! Awesome place I have been coming to this establishment for over 12 years and in all that time I have nothing to complain about! To those customers who whine about their gift certificates, please be advised that when a business is sold the new owner has no obligation to honor those certificates. Excellent and convenient service I frequented Ludwig's Salon and Spa about 10 years ago (under former ownership). I returned recently after I could no longer handle the expense of another salon. Destination Salon and Spa has very reasonable prices for the quality of the cut and style - Amanda is an incredible and experienced stylist! GREAT SALON/SPA I have been going to Destination Salon Spa for a couple years now, and I love the atmosphere. The front desk is always very friendly and helpful. I get facials from Lenette there. SHE IS AMAZING. She is conscious of what is comfortable and she is really educated and skilled. I always leave feeling very relaxed. I would and do recommend it to everyone.
horrible! this is the WORST salon and spa ever! the owner talks about all of her clients in the back room even their personal and private buisness...making fun of them basically. the front desk service is horrible and tell people that stylist leave bc they decided to stay home with their kids....when they really didnt bc i tracked my stylist down and could not be happier with her and another salon. this is the most unprofessional salon ever! i would never recommend it to ANYONE!
Great for men's services I started going to the spa to get my eyebrows waxed- for my wife. They are patient & make it painless as possible. They even give me sample packets of creams to apply if I get uncomfortable after I leave. I began getting (what's left of) my hair cut there as well, about 2 years ago. My esthetician always comes over & re-applies the aloe vera again after my hair cut. They never make me feel awkward, and I still look like a man when I'm done. Worth every penny! I have been receiving gift certificates to Destination/Ludwigs for the last 10 years. I get pedicures with them & also go there before special events for a (hair) style & manicures with tips. I went last month before a weeding for "the works". The receptionist was super busy when I arrived, but still greeted me & called for my stylist, all while ringing someone up & making an appointment on the phone. Talk about multi-tasking! Do not patronize this business! I too was given a $200 gift card and when I noticed the name change immediately called. I was told by Theresa (the now owner) that the staff has remained the same and it is only a name change and that the gift card would be honored until the end of 2009. I called yesterday and was told that it will not be honored. The owner called today and I recanted my story and lied and said that no one ever would have told me this.
