I come here every year on my birthday and love it. last night was the worst service I ever had. food obviously sat in the window way to long and the waiter barely came to it table. I would have had a few more beers if I was asked. in the end i understand we have bad days, so hopefully next time it will be better.
Destihl is delightful and a real gem in the CU food scene! I have never had poor service or a bad meal - in fact, the servers are among the absolute best in the area. The menu is diverse enough to please a variety of palates, from burgers to vegan pasta to fantastic steaks to Thai fried chicken and all kinds of offerings in between.
great food and a good price
My wife & I were in town for the football game. Go Blue! Beer was great! Warm potato & salmon was fantastic & dessert (pound of chocolate cake & warm caramel sundae) were delicious. Nice place!
One of the best restaurants in the Champaign-Urbana area. When we have out of town guests this is where we come. Their menu has something for everyone.
