MICE and serious mismanagement DO NOT RENT from here you have been warned. -10 stars.
They kept my $ 85.00 key deposit. That's how petty they are. You would be very aware it's against the act to withhold funds due to a tenant for key deposit. Read your own manual. I moved out February 2025 and they need that $ 85.00..at least that's what it looks like to me. It's now January 2026. You owe me interest and much much more. Horrible building managers as well as property managers. This is a company who has no regard for the residents of the building and are only interested in increasing rents, and creating administrative charges illegally. Lazy and very rude management, (it is shocking considering how much they charge in rent). I would never recommend Destaron ever to anyone. It was a very disappointing experience to say the least!
Horrible property management. Likes to apply for bigger increases in rent but hates to do any repairs in your apartment. Building cleaners are useless. I live at Surrey place in Kitchener used to be a well maintained building but since Destron has taken over is quickly going down hill.
Lived at 130 Saint Joseph’s for about a year. The building was well maintained, clean, and pretty quiet. The other tenants were all friendly and polite. This was a nice safe and secure place to call home. The property manager Joyce, was always very professional, welcoming and helpful. Maintenance requests are dealt with quickly. This is a good building that is well maintained.
