My husband and i & 2 sons ate here a couple of years ago and loved it amd so we went back this time and this time we DID NOT enjoy our food! The food was too greasy and way over priced! We wont go back! My husbands stomach was so tore up from the greasy food he didnt get to enjoy much of the rest of our stay! We wont be recommending! We had way better food and way better pricing at the Shrimp Basket!
Good seafood...Used the senior menu and had a great meal and value.
I expected better but none of the seafood was seasoned. Crawfish poboy was ok but had no seasoning except the sauce. Trigger fish was good but only the thicker parts. Thinner parts were tasteless.
Was delighted to rediscover De Soto’s. The food was fresh, cooked perfectly and affordable. Grateful that they have a Senior menu. My elderly mother enjoyed her meal of generous portions. Can’t wait to return.

I had the fried flounder. It was delicious. My husband said it was the best fish he had ever eaten. We always try to go to DeSotos when visiting Gulf Shores.
The service was excellent! I selected crushed pecan grouper. Boy! That was so delicious! I'll have to have that again next time I come back!

Crab bisque looked like cheese soup Spinach dip had literally no cheese with cold tortilla chips Stuffed mushrooms no flavor at all Very disappointed Not to mention its just an old and dirty place I won't be back���
Always delivers! We usually go at least twice while we're there. Been a customer for a few decades & I always recommend it to newbies.
