Designer Walls repainted the inside of our house a few months ago and we couldn't be more pleased. We put this off for a long time because we had several rooms of wallpaper that had to be stripped and we heard that it gets very messy. When the paper is stripped the wall needs to be skim coated to make it smooth again. This can't be helped. Skim coating involves smoothing a couple thin layers of plaster over the wall and sanding it smooth. Normally this creates a lot of dust.
