Liar LIAR – If I could give a negative score, I would. Purchased furniture from Designer Marketplace (April 2011), which was delivered damaged. I was told that it would be replaced with new furniture. Well, as time passed, I called the store many times and was eventually stated the furniture was no longer available. Unique Store – This place is definitely the most unique furniture store I've been to in the Twin Cities. You will not find the collection of goods they have at HOM or Ashley that's for sure. I purchased a few chairs and a sofa from this place and I was very excited for them to arrive. The only thing is it took a little longer than I expected to receive my items, about 2 1/2 weeks, but now that I have them it was well worth it. If you want something different this would be my recommendation.

Fantastic Experience – Had a pleasant experience with this company. I've been to furniture stores around town and yet to find such an eclectic store like this. The sales people were knowledgeable in helping select pieces to finish my great room. Designer Marketplace was great!

scam – You'll need a shower and a stiff drink after dealing with the sales tactics. Save yourself the feeling of contempt for another human and just avoid this place.

Redemption! – At first I was unsure about this place because I thought I saw the exact sofa selling at Dock 86 for $200.00 less. I took Dock 86's sales quote to Designer Marketplace to see if they would price match. The manager explained to me that there are a lot of reproductions out there and you can't judge a sofa by its cover. He told me to ask about the materials used and the quality of construction. Watch Out !!!! – We saw a chair on display at the Woodbury store and asked for a new one to be delivered. What we got was a fake that did not even look like the display model. We refused the item and asked for the original chair or a refund. This was in August. They charged my credit card $1600 and I’m still waiting for a credit. Be warned about this place.

Very Pleased – I have recently purchased a wonderful sofa and matching accent chairs for my family room and couldn't be happier. The quality is outstanding and was delivered on time, as promised. The sales people were extremely friendly and couldn't be more helpful. They actually designed the layout of my room and suggested the furniture that I purchased. I love Designer Marketplace and will be returning to them for future business! I highly recommend this place.

BAD. BAD. BAD. – I would 100% with the above descriptions. Do not do business with this place! We ordered our furniture at the end of January and we just received it two weeks ago (August). We were told that our ottoman would take 8 weeks to be made and decided to have our end table delivered with it at the same time. I called at the end of April and was told by a very confused sales person that my ottoman was in their warehouse and they would contact me about delivery. A week later, no call. Buyer beware – I totally agree with customer2800's description of this place. Very slick sales guys who did not follow up when my (paid for) order fell into a black hole and were rude, arrogant, and entirely uninterested in solving the matter. I wouldn't do business with this place again.
