I've been to Design Within Reach twice, both times with a specific goal in mind. I've been helped by kind and well-informed salespeople each time, with no pressure to buy. I've never felt rushed; I've been given plenty of time and was given many, many options to try.
Prices are nuts
Our saleswoman was dumber than a bag of rocks. The poor soul that helped us knew nothing about the products, but insisted she personally owned everything we ordered. She also assured us that our purchases would be delivered in July, yet the website has us scheduled for delivery in October. I don’t, however, appreciate that my credit card was debited for the full amount in June. I visit Design Within Reach on Saturday 4/18 I was interested in getting a couple of the Cherner Barstools I had four sales person looked right at me didn’t speak or ask if I needed assisted , as if I should have been inside their store.
Outstanding customer service nearly every time. Salespeople really know their merch. Amazing quality products...you do get what you pay for. Fun to browse but even more fun to buy. Worth your time to check them out if you are looking for furniture or lighting. Tell them Kristi says hi.
