Worst builder ever. After finding and making DTH correct many many mistakes and once you've done the walk thru and move in they no longer answer the phone or return calls. They will not honor their warranty. When you actually/ finally get someone from the warranty department on the phone, the tell you someone will be out and they never show up. NOT WORTH THE AGGRIVATION OR HEADACHES.
Design Tech Homes are the best in the business. They did a wonderful job on our kitchen and even helped us design it. They finished the job on time line they promised and I'm really impressed. I will gladly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do work at their home!
You can do much better if you have the right people working for your company.
Excellent experience throughout. We always felt important and whatever we wanted to change or do differently it happened. Any and all questions were always answered. Looking forward to getting in our new house.
Buyer Beware!!! Nice looking house, but once they get your money don't expect them to fulfill the written warranty. We built our house 2 1/2 years ago and have and still are trying to get them to fix leaky windows and water in the wall issues from the leaky windows. We have submitted our written request since we first moved in along with several follow up requests including pictures and videos. Each time they say they are doing to do something about it but don't.
Very satisfied with the overall home buying experience with Design Tech. We would definitely recommend them for anyone considering a custom home.
You may stand behind the legal terms of your warranty, but you don't stand behind your work very well. The 1 year warranty on bathroom tile is a joke when the installers clearly did, or used, something wrong. All the showers have cracked grout lines and need to be regrouted after just 4 years. I expected much more. Buyer beware.
Just finished the design process and hope to start construction shortly. The sales and design process what tedious and lengthy, but then I'm sure that is common with building a custom home. The plan came out great and the price makes the purchase have good value.
In an effort to provide feedback in some way as design tech does not allow for posting on their main page of facebook for good reason. This building process with design tech has been a true nightmare. I'm hoping to reach out to potential home buyers and provide my experience.
