Really nice day at Firecliff. Lunch Tuesday. Really nice in both cases. Enjoyed the course — not as hard as made out to be. A few ratty tee boxes but nice overall.
Beautiful condition on the fairways and greens, immaculate! One of those courses where the fairway and rough conditions actually improved contact with the ball striking. Greens were very fair, perfect speed for me. Great desert course well worth the fees!!
Dinner and music under the stars (or the chandeliers, in the case of last Thursday’s very windy evening) was superb. The food was scrumptious, the service attentive, and the Chris Compton Trio provided great entertainment. We will definitely do this again.
Just played Firecliff today for the first time and I have to say, this was truly a world class experience from service to golf. Outstanding course design and conditioning, excellent service from valet to bar staff. This is a “must play” when in the Palm Springs area. I will definitely return!
