I wont retype what I just put on Yelp, but this is the worst place I have ever been. Avoid at all cost.
I have been to Desert Wells Family Medicine several times over past year and I will be back when needed.
I was scene very quickly and that was the first thing that surprised me. Dr. Hoag is so attentive and a very caring individual. This is definitely what he was meant to do.
Dr. Hoag and the staff are always professional. They spend as much time as necessary with their patients.
My family has been patient's at Desert Wells for Family Medicine for a very long time and we have never been disappointed with their services.
I would recommend the Doctor's (owner's) of this practice review how they will effectively care for their patients(customers). I did not expect a unrealistic level of care however I did expect the staff to treat me as they would want to be treated. I did expect to be treated as an individual and not as chattle. Your staff is and indirect reflection of you. I never saw my doctor and there was very little attention to detail. I have been going to Dr. Hoag for 6 years now and have not had any problems with the office. Wait times vary as to the time of year and they can always get you in the same or next day if you are sick. I think this is a great office as they do the best to accomadate your needs. As for those that think they wait a long time in the waiting room get over it. At any doctor office I have gone to this place has always had the shortest wait time. I also love the in house Lab for bloodwork.
Dr. McClure is the best doctor in town. He listens to your needs and is alway helpful. We will keep him as our family doctor forever! I highly recommend him to all of my friends.
They will not renew prescriptions for you unless you come in every 3 months. The office manager is a beast and lied to me stating why:"There is a new AZ mandate that patients have to come in every 3 months for renewals." I checked with my United Healthcare Insurace company and they said that that was not true, that there is however a mandate for prescriptions that are government controlled.
