***** used this company to repair my dishwasher, the repair person came out twice,the 2nd time with the wrong part,he told me he would order the correct part and return but then without any mention to me of any bug problem informed ***** that I had a bug infestation(which is false) so he would not have to return a 3rd time to complete the complicated control panel repair. During the initial visit it was not necessary to pull the unit out. Upon return with the replacement part, the unit was removed and it was at this time that the condition of the space was revealed. We have a video showing the horde of dead and live creatures which we are happy to share. We also have an excellent pest control company we can recommend. Desert Tech cares about its employees and we will not allow them to work in unsanitary conditions.
On February 28, 2021, my refrigerator stopped cooling and I called Lowes protection plan which told me Desert Tech would be the company to come out on March 3, 2021 to repair the refrigerator and that they would call us to confirm the time they will be arriving. On March 3, 2021, we did not receive a call from them so we decided to call around noon. We found out that they would be coming out later in the afternoon. It is our standard operating procedure to call the customer the evening before the scheduled appointment to confirm the time and again when the technician is on the way to the residence. Initially, we determined that a part that is not currently in stock was needed to complete the repair. Having had just seen a neg review re this company, I can say it does not at all surprise me that this poor woman had to wait 2 months for her washer to get repaired. The owners of Desert Tech, (Heather and Karl B****** ) are also the owners of **** Service, a repair service run out of this same address who services appliances for several foreign supposedly "High end" appliance manufactures who demand you go through **** (same owners as "Desert Tech" to get your appliance repaired.
