Pete is honest & hardworking & I've known him for almost 30 years. He doesn't take your money because he's dishonest, it's because your car needs it!! For my repairs today, he explained, I'm not replacing those because I checked them and they don't need replacing. He did some custom interior work on my plastic seat bases and barely charged me. Put my car on the computer & adjusted some things, cleaned other things that were dirty under the hood and charged me just over $100. Wow!! I'm impressed.

Just Beware – I recently took my car to this company for AC repair because I wanted to support the "small business" owner instead of a "franchise". Although they were polite, and the work was done on time, They charged outrageous rates and mark up the parts 100-200%. I called around to parts dealers and got the prices afterwards so I know what their approximate cost was for the parts versus what they charged. Pete is honest and considerate – Pete and his team at Desert Auto have been saving me time and money for years! He always has the parts he removed on hand for inspection, and if there is a way to save money on a repair he will find it and let me know. Even when I was just a kid with my first car, Pete took the time to explain to me what was going on and he even showed me how to do simple maintenance items on my own in some cases.
