I was there and everything was clean. The food was good the only thing that was a problem is that I had a quarter of unopened weed that I had purchased and they kept it and didn't give it back to me. So someone stole.

DON'T COME HERE!! If you need addiction treatment, go to Westcare. Apparently desert parkway was bought out last year. I was there 3 years ago, and it has changed hugely! There is no longer an addiction unit. Mental health and addiction are now mixed together. I had a man tell me how he learned to rape on women like me! I was seriously traumatized, but they did remove him from the unit. I'm a vegan, but I was trying to eat what was provided. It made me sick. My experience at Desert Parkway Behavioral health was excellent, especially the weekend staff. The food was 2/5, but the weekend staff who are: Keven (Lead MHT), Jerry (MHT), Felt (RN), Marlyn (RN), and Maile (RN) made it easier for me and actually enjoyable. I hope these individuals get recognized for their hardworking and dedication not just for doing their jobs, but how they treated all the patients. Great team!!!!
